The Changing Seasons - Haiku

This week's Haiku prompt presented by đpoetic1© is based upon "the changing seasons." It's fairly simple, according to dpoetic1 (but then his name is đpoetic1© and mine is not) simply think about your favorite to least favorite season and write your Haiku or Poetry. Pictures are encouraged. I did write a selection for last week's prompt but didn't submit it ... this week I didn't have a choice to sit this one out. I was given a directive! :)

So here is my Haiku ......

Crisp white melting past
Winter drips slips into spring
New green budding hope

Log onto to đpoetic1©'s blog to read the rest of the poetic offerings and learn more about the art of Haiku.

Your haiku was good. I really like the last line because it offers hope from the beginning.

  4. Dear Nikki,

I am contacting you regarding a blog survey I am conducting. I am a Ph.D. candidate in Mass Communication at Penn State and my dissertation project consists of a survey that looks at women bloggers’ perceived motivations for and effects of their blogging.

I am sending the survey to a number of bloggers, and I would like to invite you to participate in it as well. Participation should take approximately 15 minutes of your time. I would appreciate it tremendously if you would be willing to take the survey. If you decide to do so, please follow the link below:

I would be very happy to share the findings of my study with you once it is completed!

If you have any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to contact me!

    Thank you in advance,

    Carmen
