Here's the story: Astronaut to be charged with attempted murder!

Brief Summary: A NASA astronaut, married with three children, is accused of trying to kidnap a romantic rival for a space shuttle pilot’s affections. Apparently, 43 year old Lisa Marie Nowak drove 900 miles, donned a disguise and was armed with a BB gun and pepper spray when she confronted a woman she believed was a competitor for the affections of Navy Cmdr. William Oefelein, an unmarried fellow astronaut.

Nowak will remain in jail because authorities planned to charge her with attempted first-degree murder, an official said Tuesday.
